Taupo is a photographer’s delight with scenery hanging out for a photograph and plenty of quiet places to capture a great selfie. While Huka falls is a predicted favourite why not find shots of Lake Taupo from one of the many lakeside viewpoints.

Aratiatia Rapids is memorising however without a telephoto lens it’s not ideal for mobile camera shots. Great place, enjoy the stunning sight of water rapidly rising in a matter of minutes. Close up shots (video) would capture the moment beautifully.
