Mt Kuripapango

Adventure beckons the dedicated tramper with Mt Kuripapango on the horizon. ‘The Lakes’ car park is the start of the 1250 metre climb through kanuka forest to the main ridge. Fabulous views of lakes, alpine flowers and tussock in the alpine landscape. Kuripapango tramping tracks. The area is part of Kaweka Forest Park.
