Art & craft attraction – sculptured metal

The Sculpted Metal Gallery has an exquisite collection of fish, birds and reptiles, hand-carved and cast into bronze, steel, pewter and fiberglass sculptures.  The on-site foundry provides a glimpse into the sculpted metals process through large windows within the gallery and is sure to be fascinating for both the young and not so young. Specialising in Bronze art, Nathan at Sculpted Metals uses a wide variety of materials to create his art pieces. Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Zinc, Pewter and Copper are the most commonly used. The Gallery additionally displays a selection of art from guests around the Coromandel and New Zealand. These currently include Irina Velman, Rebecca Coggins and Swny Art. There is an online shop.
