Truby King Park is a hidden house and garden worth a visit.
Truby King is the founder of New Zealand Plunket Society (focus on new born children and child welfare). Tucked away in a hidden part of Wellington is the 1.9 hectare slice of history heritage-listed estate. Access is from the Southern Walkway or Southern motorway. The signage is not easy to locate. From the grounds you will get views of the harbour and ocean beyond. This is a garden for lovers of all things plant and for visitors interested in heritage places.
