Transitional Cardboard Cathedral

Canterbury, New Zealand

After the February quake caused damage to the iconic Christchurch Cathedral, Japanese architect Shigeru Ban designed one of his famous “Emergency Architecture” buildings, and now the transitional ‘Cardboard’ Cathedral project is welcoming visitors.
