Susan Dinkelacker wood carver and sculptor.

Susan creations are 3D sculptures. Specialising in birds, magical creatures and people the shaped wood are very tactile inviting the viewer to engage with the creation. Susan comes from a family of woodworkers, including her husband who runs Dinkelacker Woodworking.  Many of Susan’s works are on display at Gallery Helena Bay.

Susan constantly challenges herself technically, striving to reveal the intriguing inner character of whatever creature she chooses to sculpt.
