Sawpit Gully Track

Starts in the carpark of the Chinese Settlement Village and is a continuation of the Arrow River Trail. There are steep areas in the gully with the promise of sweeping views of the Arrow River, Lake Wakatipu, Lake Hayes and open country beyond. The area has native beech forest. You can loop to the starting point by continuing down the Big Hill Trail. Duration 2-3 hours.
