Motu Kaikoura Trust

Kaikoura Island, a 564 ha island to the west of Port Fitzroy, Great Barrier Island/Aotea. The island is an open sanctuary for native flora and fauna. There is accommodation available for hire on the Motu Kaikoura (formerly known as Selwyn Island). The island has accommodation available for groups or individuals who are:

  • Volunteering
  • Part of an educational facility
  • Involved in the islands restoration work
  • Contracting to work on infrastructure or other projects
  • Involved in scientific research
