Wairoa Stream (Te Wairere) Waterfall hiking track, Kerikeri

Hop on a ferry to see some amazing scenery and enjoy the Victorian village of Kohukohu. The nearby Wairere Boulders is the only valley worldwide of its kind where there are thousands of boulders stacked on top of each other, some around 30m high. In 5 hidden corners of Kohukohu imagine the harbour filled with massive kauri logs floating so far that you could jump from Rawene to Kohukohu without getting your feet wet. The original landscape was forever changed with the removal of the forest cover and the silting of the harbour.
