The Old Post Office Guesthouse is an historic old building circa 1903. On entering, look down and you will be standing on kauri planks milled in the Kaipara. You will also notice the hollow in both the front doorways worn down by countless feet. There are four guest suites.

  • The Postmaster’s suite (including own entrance, hallway and bathroom)
  • The Kakariki room (smaller double room with private but adjacent bathroom)
  • The pretty little yellow room (single with the bathroom around the corner)
  • The old post sorting room. Another larger single room (bathroom around the corner)
  • Garden studio, self contained with space for a family.

Evening meals can be pre ordered but must be requested two days in advance. GF/ DF and vegetarian options available.

The B&B has four bedrooms with en-suite, a communal lounge used by house guests which is both functional and comfortable with Sky Tv and a kitchenette where you can help yourself to tea or coffee and a treat.
