With a rich brewing heritage dating back to 1843, Nelson is New Zealand’s craft beer capital.  The first hundred years of hop growing and brewing  is celebrated in the new Hop & Beer Museum.  Explore the replica hop kiln, learn about the brewing process and listen to the arguments for and against prohibition in the Brewer’s Office. The museum is located in the Founders Heritage Park, Nelson.

Most of the early planting succumbed to hungry goats, but this didn’t stop them being drawn into the magic of grafting, training and harvesting; before long we had created a diverse and beautiful cider orchard … Peckhams is the sort of place you are grateful for online ordering as you certainly can’t physically carry your bootie with you in the backpack.
