@AnakiwaSKA

Sea Kayaking is the place to try out something different. The purpose built facilities in Linkwater provide safe car parking for a trip of a lifetime.  Sea Kayaking specialise in nature-based adventuring for the intrepid traveller, with an emphasis on experiencing the environment without interfering with its delicate ecosystems. If you are not quite ready for that type of adventure, then why not try out The Sounds Mini Golf.

TIP

WANT TO GET OUTDOORS? … check the options for walks, tramps, sea kayaking and mountain biking while your vehicle is safely stored for your return.

WANT TO STRETCH YOUR LEGS?  LINKWATER PATHWAY TRAIL

The Link Pathway is a 42-kilometre walking and mountain bike track that connects Havelock, Picton, Anakiwa and the Queen Charlotte Track in Marlborough.

INTERESTING FACT

There is only 5 km of landmass between the head of Pelorus Sound and the head of Queen Charlotte Sound at Linkwater. No surprise in the 19th century the idea of a canal between the two Sounds was promoted. Sailing between the two Sounds is a 100 km journey.
