Mitchells Gully Gold Mine

Mitchells Gully gold mine is a partly restored mine run by descendants of the original miners. This crushing battery is powered by a waterwheel. The historic site is carpeted with artefacts, mining equipment and rustic buildings with rooms with clothing and objects. Old tunnels add to the atmosphere. Check before visiting whether the attraction is continuing to be open.
