Get your adrenaline fix by taking on the downhill luge course at the Hideaway Luge

The 240-metre steep track snakes through the Egmont Road property next to the Hillsborough Holden Museum and the Bathurst-themed Mount Panorama Mini-Putt.

There’s also the Hideaway Café on-site to refuel once you’re done. Open 10am – 5pm every Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays. Group bookings are also available at other times by appointment.

Get the real Taranaki experience and come surfing with New Plymouth Surf School! We provide lessons for families, adults, and children at Fitzroy beach. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have surfed before. We focus on having fun and teaching you the basics of surfing.

The surf lessons take place in small groups to make sure we have maximum time with our students and the lessons are always based around the best surf conditions of the day. No experience is needed and all surf equipment is included. We offer kids surf lessons, private surf lessons, group surf lessons and women-only surf lessons.
