Flagstaff Hill walking track

A steep climb to the Flagstaff Hill ridgeline.

  • Length: 2.5 km
  • Duration: 45 minutes – 1 hour

Low tide walk to Kororareka Bay, around the rocks to Watering Bay, where a sign posted track directs walkers to Flagstaff Hill. Your walk will pass pretty native bush and out onto Titore Way. Then the climb starts up to the summit. It’s all signposted.

High tide walks along The Strand in Russell and through Kent Street, and then Wellington Street (past Christ Church). Approximately 300 metres along Wellington Street is the signpost to the bush walk connecting with low tide walkway.
