Where to go and things to do

Culture & heritage is expressed through contemporary art galleries, workshops and events. Northland workshops to inspire our creative spirit and owner operated art galleries will get us on the road to visit Northland.  Northland covers all artistic genres from glass, ceramics, painting, pottery, multi-media to sculptures and public art installations. Northland is a highlight for culture buffs interested in new and emerging talent.

Following from the creative hub of Whangarei the warm sub-tropical climate, the geography and spirit of Northland is emcapuscated in the depth of artistic talent in the region. For art lovers, collectors of art, Northland is a must visit destination. The length of time and how long to linger is driven by your passion and what you find on the road. There could be an artistic gem that is not included. Comments are welcome together with a brief description to assist with identifying the artist.

Workshops are a great motivation to get out and about. A holiday with a purpose, a connection with people who inspire and challenge you to explore your creative energy. Forward bookings are essential for workshops as well artists request that you do not simply turn up on the doorstep. Appointments are requested.
