The gardens at Coniston cover 6.5 acres of woodland, formal gardens, and a lake – attracting birdlife and including many rare and mature trees, with one planted to commemorate the visit of Queen Elizabeth II in 1981.
The hundreds of rhododendrons and camellias feature in the springtime, with blossoms reflecting on the lake. In the summer time the formal rose gardens are a blaze of colour, and in autumn the trees look spectacular with their autumn colours.
Garden tours by appointment.
