POINT DANGER MARINE SANCTUARY
The intertidal limestone reef is the defining feature of the marine reserve. Covered in small boulders and intricate seaweed beds, the reef is home to a number of key-hole limpets, crabs and mussels. The seaslug is the star with over 90 species known to occur in this sanctuary,
Point Danger Marine Sanctuary reef is largely isolated from the main beach with a deep sandy channel. In high tide rays cruise the reef looking for the next snack.

Open workshops, artist studios and community halls showcase over 200 artists. Multi-media artists, jewellery makers, painting, sculpture, weaving, photography, mosaics and printmakers have an opportunity to exhibit their creative talent. The trail embraces Geelong and follows the coast. Held August / September early spring.
