Look at the rear of the Worsley Cottage Museum at SQUATTERS HUT. The 1884 is constructed from vertical slabs of timber with a shingle roof. The floor is of rammed earth and the walls are lined with hessian and calico.

Paddys Ranges Regional Park is a gem far from the busy tourist circuit. Enjoy a native box-ironwood forest, over 250 registered wildflower species, campgrounds, walks and gold mining 19th century relics.

Open Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays, remember to check beforehand to avoid Recreational gold prospecting is only allowed in designated areas of Paddys Ranges, and prospectors must hold a current Miner’s Right. Take care, as dangerous mine shafts occur throughout the park.
