Auckland Vaughan Historic House

Located in the Long Bay Regional Park the homestead represents a substantial farmstead of the 19th century. Constructed in 1861 by George Vanghan. The homestead is managed by the local council and is open for private functions. An 1863 farm cottage restored by the Torbay Historical Society. Ground floor has a meeting room, kitchen, toilets and a small information room. Upstairs is set up as a historic homestead room. Call the society on 09 473 9371 for bookings and access rules.
