Ashburton Domain is 37 hectares of open space, lawns, gardens and recreational facilities.
The domain has an outdoor aviary with showy peacocks and a kids favourite, a duck pond.
Created in 1883 there is a diverse range of mature trees, shrubs and flowering beds. Due to its central location the gardens are a favourite spot for locals to meet and greet.
